The mission of the Dunellen Fire Department is to provide the residents of Dunellen with a highly trained and efficient fire suppression and prevention organization.

The Dunellen Fire Department operates in a safe manner to protect the community from the ravage of fire and other hazardous situations within the scope of our resources.

Join Dunellen Fire Department

The Dunellen Fire Department and Dunellen Defender Fire Co. No. 1 are always accepting new members.

Firefighter

A Firefighter who is subject to call and is on active duty. Each applicant for active membership must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Junior Firefighter

A firefighter who is subject to call and active duty, but due to his/her age, is restricted in the duties they are able to perform.

Associate Member

An Associate Member supports the Fire Company administrative operations and events, but is not an emergency responder.
